Rex D asked:

I bought these cheap tiki torches at Big Lots along with the oil from there. I lit them and it created an initial big flame that then died out and the wicks turning to ashes immedietly.

farmerbrown726 asked:

what else can i put in a tiki torch besides tiki torch fuel? Can i use kerosene?
i want to get the most bang for my buck
i don't care if there is the smell that keeps the bugs away. I can't get the fuel locally because it is out of season and i need to use the torches this month.

We have standard tiki torches with standard oil you could get from Home Depot. I have looked all over the internet and the best I found was $3.05 for 2 wicks. There has to be a place where you could get something like a spool of wich and then just cut it to the length you want, while also buying it in bulk. PLEASE HELP!!!

I have seen torches connected to the outside of decks before, but I am not sure how to secure it tightly to the outside. What kind of clamp or strap is used to keep it upright, even in heavy winds?
